Hey All,
I hope that whatever stage of back-to-school-ness (that’s totally a word) you’re in, you’re having a fabulous week. Yesterday was officially 2 weeks until my students come back to school. Next week I can get into my classroom and start working, and then the Tuesday after labor day, the teachers go back. I have been scrambling to get as much done before I can get in my room on Monday as possible, so here are some of the odds and ends I’ve been working on this week.
I LOVE this poster that I finally got around to laminating. I’ve seen this saying all over Pinterest, and I just love it! 🙂
I used Daily 5 last year, but will be starting CAFE for the first time. I finally printed and laminated the things for my bulletin board, and I love them! 🙂
I laminated and started cutting out my word wall cards. Well, I got the letters cut out anyway. I still need to cut out all of the words. Click on the picture to check out this word wall in my store. 🙂
Okay, FULL credit for this fabulous idea goes to the lovely Tara from 4th Grade Frolics. I saw this quick self-checking rubric on her facebook page fan freebie, and LOVED it. I made my own so it would match my room, but she has a few different color choices and hers are way cuter than mine. {Click here} to check them out. (You just have to like her facebook page).
And in case you were wondering, my living room still looks like this. I can’t wait to get these books out and have space again! I’m sure Chris can’t wait either.
And last but not least, I finally made my schedule cards. I’m going to use them in a pocket chart. I laminated them so I can write the time on with dry erase marker. Click the picture above to grab your own for FREE. (Sorry, I can’t add or make any changes to these right now.)
So that’s what I’ve been up to! Today looks like another day of cutting, sorting, and laminating, but I do get to see one of my sisters today which is always fun.
Hope you have a lovely day!
