Quick & Easy Door & Window Cover

Happy Saturday folks! I am in need of more Top 5 Freebie submissions, so if you have one, please {click here} to submit!

Since I don’t have enough freebies for this week, I decided to share a fun and easy project with you! I’ve been working on my classroom ALL. WEEK. LONG. It’s been super exhausting because our school doesn’t have air conditioning, and I have a 4 month old to bring along. Still, I got my classroom mostly done. It’s not perfect, but I’ve realized that I have to give myself a little grace this year.

I’ll be posting classroom reveal pictures in the next couple weeks once it’s complete, but for now, you can see a few sneak peeks on my {instagram}.

So here’s my simple project for you today! Since I have a 4 month old, I’m going to have to pump in my classroom during my lunch and my prep. I needed a cute and easy way to cover the little window in my classroom door, but I also needed to be able to have it uncovered as well. And of course, I wanted it to look cute.

Well, I bought a felt-backed tablecloth on clearance at target a few weeks ago, and it was the perfect solution!

First, I cut it down to the size of my door & stapled and taped it on.

I used an xacto knife to cut out around the window, but notice I left the bottom.

Here’s what it looks like when I want the window open. 😉

And here’s what it looks like when I need it closed!

Easy, peasy!

Hope you enjoyed this quick tip! Have a great Saturday!
